Việc tích hợp Hành động đối với nội dung đa phương tiện yêu cầu bạn cung cấp một nguồn cấp dữ liệu gồm các thực thể đại diện cho nội dung đa phương tiện trong danh mục của bạn; ví dụ: chương trình truyền hình, phim, bài hát, đĩa nhạc và nhiều nội dung khác. Bạn, với tư cách là nhà cung cấp, có những trách nhiệm sau:
- Tạo một nguồn cấp dữ liệu (ở định dạng JSON) chứa thông tin chi tiết bắt buộc về từng thực thể trong danh mục của bạn.
- Lưu trữ nguồn cấp dữ liệu trên máy chủ hoặc dịch vụ lưu trữ trên đám mây, đồng thời cho phép Google thường xuyên tìm nạp nguồn cấp dữ liệu.
