Method: accounts.adUnits.create

  • Creates a new ad unit under a specified AdMob account using an HTTP POST request.

  • Requires providing the account's resource name as a path parameter and an AdUnit object in the request body.

  • Returns the newly created AdUnit object in the response body if successful.

  • Needs admob.monetization OAuth scope for authorization and might have limited access requiring account manager approval.

Creates an ad unit under the specified AdMob account.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Required. Resource name of the account to create the specified ad unit for. Example: accounts/pub-9876543210987654

Request body

The request body contains an instance of AdUnit.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of AdUnit.

Authorization scopes

Requires the following OAuth scope:
