Method: accounts.get

  • This document provides a guide to looking up a single Account using the Google Analytics Admin API v1beta.

  • The HTTP request uses a GET method with a specified URL format including a variable 'name' for the account to lookup.

  • The only required parameter is the 'name' of the account, which should be in the format "accounts/{account}".

  • A successful request will result in a response body containing an instance of an Account.

  • Authorization requires either the 'analytics.readonly' or 'analytics.edit' OAuth scope.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Required. The name of the account to lookup. Format: accounts/{account} Example: "accounts/100"

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Account.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.edit
