Method: edits.expansionfiles.update

  • This method updates an APK's expansion file configuration to reference another APK's expansion file.

  • A PUT HTTP request is used with a specific URL structure including package name, edit ID, APK version code, and expansion file type.

  • The request body requires an instance of ExpansionFile, and the response body, if successful, will also contain an instance of ExpansionFile.

  • Authorization requires the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/androidpublisher OAuth scope.

Updates the APK's expansion file configuration to reference another APK's expansion file. To add a new expansion file use the expansionfiles.upload method.

PUT https://androidpublisher.googleapis.com/androidpublisher/v3/applications/{packageName}/edits/{editId}/apks/{apkVersionCode}/expansionFiles/{expansionFileType}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

packageName

Package name of the app.
editId

string

Identifier of the edit.
apkVersionCode

integer

The version code of the APK whose expansion file configuration is being read or modified.
expansionFileType

enum (ExpansionFileType)

The file type of the file configuration which is being read or modified.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of ExpansionFile.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of ExpansionFile.
