Installs: update

  • This method is deprecated and will no longer be accessible after September 30, 2025.

  • This method requests to install or update an app to its latest version on a device.

  • Authorization with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/androidenterprise scope is required to use this method.

  • The request requires specifying the enterprise ID, user ID, device ID, and install ID in the path parameters.

Requests to install the latest version of an app to a device. If the app is already installed, then it is updated to the latest version if necessary.

enterpriseId string The ID of the enterprise.
installId string The ID of the product represented by the install, e.g. "app:com.google.android.gm".
userId string The ID of the user.
