Managedconfigurationsforuser: update

  • This method is deprecated and will no longer be accessible after September 30, 2025; new integrations should use the recommended alternative.

  • This method adds or updates managed configuration settings for an app for a specific user.

  • Managed configurations can be applied using either the Managed configurations iframe with an mcmId or by passing a list of managed properties.

  • The request requires authorization with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/androidenterprise scope.

Adds or updates the managed configuration settings for an app for the specified user. If you support the Managed configurations iframe, you can apply managed configurations to a user by specifying an mcmId and its associated configuration variables (if any) in the request. Alternatively, all EMMs can apply managed configurations by passing a list of managed properties.
