الدمج مع بحث الكتب من Google
جمعت Google مجموعة من كل أنواع الكتب، من خلال شراكاتها مع الناشرين ومشروع المسح الضوئي للمكتبة، بهدف دمج المحادثات التي تدور حول الكتب على موقعها الإلكتروني داخل الكتاب نفسه.
يتفوّق تطبيق Goodreads على مساعدة المستخدمين في العثور على الكتب التي يريدون قراءتها من خلال اقتراحات الأصدقاء أو القرّاء الآخرين الذين لديهم ذوق مشابه. على عكس المكتبات الحقيقية، لا يستطيع الأعضاء اختيار كتاب يعتقدون أنّهم يريدون قراءته وقراءته. سيساعد تضمين معاينة الكتاب باستخدام واجهات برمجة التطبيقات لبحث الكتب من Google في تغيير ذلك، حيث يمكّن الأعضاء من تصفح الكتب عبر الإنترنت مباشرة على الموقع. وستكون هذه خدمة قيّمة جدًا للأعضاء المهتمين بالكتاب ويفكرون في قراءته.
