"Nos entusiasma hacer accesible y destacar la amplia colección de materiales académicos de la UC no solo para los estudiantes y profesores de la UC, sino también para el público en general. Al utilizar las API de Búsqueda de libros de Google podemos permitir que nuestros usuarios accedan a versiones digitales de recursos impresos y ayudarlos a tomar decisiones más informadas acerca de los materiales que utilizan para la investigación o para las solicitudes de otras bibliotecas".
Quiénes son
Más de 100 bibliotecas de los 10 campus de la University of California respaldan las misiones de investigación, aprendizaje, atención al paciente y servicio público de la universidad. De manera colectiva, conforman la biblioteca académica y de investigación más grande del mundo. Junto con la Biblioteca Digital de California, asumieron un rol de liderazgo al aprovechar la tecnología para respaldar formas de comunicación académica nuevas e innovadoras.
