Customer Match overview

The Data Manager API supports the following Customer Match features for Display & Video 360:

  • Customer Match using contact information such as email address, phone number, and address information.

  • Customer Match using mobile IDs.

Your Display & Video 360 partner must meet set requirements before successfully uploading user data to Display & Video 360 Customer Match audiences.

Create an audience Upload members

Workflow overview

To create and manage a Customer Match audience in a Display & Video 360 account, complete the following steps:

  1. Create an audience and note the value of its id field, or use userLists.list to retrieve the id of an existing Customer Match audience.

  2. Upload members to the audience by passing the audience id as the productDestinationId in an audienceMembers.ingest request.

  3. Check upload results and list size using request diagnostics and the sizeInfo field on the audience.

  4. Remove all members from an audience if you need to replace or clear an existing audience.
