- The Display & Video 360 UI says that I need to migrate to SDF v9 to upload SDFs.
As of September 8, 2025, you must declare whether a new line item will serve European Union (EU) political ads. Only SDF versions v9 and greater allow you to make this declaration for individual line items.
You can make the declaration for the advertiser as a whole under the advertiser Basic Details settings in the Display & Video 360 UI. If you're advertiser won't serve EU political ads, you will be able to keep using SDF v7.1, v8, and v8.1 until they are sunset on March 3, 2026.
If you can't declare at the advertiser level or have declared that your advertiser may serve EU political ads, you must migrate to v9 and set the
Contains EU Political Adscolumn for new line items in order to upload Structured Data Files.
