Gets information about the user, the user's Drive, and system capabilities.

GET https://www.googleapis.com/drive/v3/about

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of About.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.metadata
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.metadata.readonly
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.photos.readonly
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly
