Summary
You need an individual Google Ads account to create campaigns and advertise products. This page describes how to use a manager account to create individual Google Ads sub-accounts.
Manual steps
- If you don't have a Google Ads manager account, see Create a manager account.
- Sign in to Google Ads with your manager account credentials and navigate to the Accounts section.
- Click the + button, then click + Create new account.
- Choose a country and time zone to use for reports and billing. - You can't change these later. We recommend choosing the country and time zone you do business in. 
- Choose a permanent currency for your account billing. - You can't change this later. We recommend choosing the currency you do business in. 
- Click SAVE AND CONTINUE, then enter your billing information and click SUBMIT. 
Automatic Steps
To create an account with the Google Ads API, you must authenticate as a user of an existing manager account. New accounts are created under that manager account.
If you don't already have a manager account, follow the steps in Create a manager account before using the Google Ads API to create sub-accounts.
You can use the
CreateCustomerClient
method to create sub-accounts with the Google Ads API.
