KML ファイルの作成と共有
KML ファイルは、Google Earth ユーザー インターフェースで作成できるほか、XML エディタやテキスト エディタを使ってはじめから作成することもできます。KML ファイルとその関連画像（ある場合）は、ZIP 形式を使用して KMZ アーカイブに圧縮できます。KML ファイルや KMZ ファイルを共有するには、メールで送付する、ローカルでホストしてプライベート インターネット内で共有する、ウェブ サーバー上でホストして公開する、などの方法があります。ウェブブラウザが HTML ファイルを表示するのと同様に、Google Earth などの Earth ブラウザは KML ファイルを表示します。サーバーを適切に構成して KML ファイルの URL（アドレス）を共有することで、Google Earth をインストールした人なら誰でも、お使いの公開ウェブ サーバー上でホストされた KML ファイルを見ることができます。
Google Earth、NASA WorldWind、ESRI ArcGIS Explorer、Adobe PhotoShop、AutoCAD、Yahoo! など、多くのアプリケーションで KML を表示できます。パイプ。
