Evrensel Polen İndeksi (UPI) nedir?
Evrensel polen indeksi (UPI), farklı bölgelerdeki polen seviyelerini karşılaştırmak için küresel olarak birleştirilmiş bir ölçek sunmak üzere tasarlanmıştır. Bu indeks, polene alerjisi veya hassasiyeti olan kişiler için çeşitli faktörlere göre polene maruz kalma riskini değerlendirmeye yardımcı olur. Çok katmanlı bir modele dayanan bu özellik, bitki modeli başına konsantrasyonu, dünya genelinde kullanılan birçok farklı yerel polen indeksi (LPI) ve farklı bitki polen türlerinin alerjenliğini dikkate alan polen seviyesi verilerinin bir gösterimidir. Bu özellik, günlük olarak metreküp başına düşen polen tanesi sayısını (tane/m3) tahmin etmek için kullanılır.
heatmapTiles uç noktası, bir temel haritanın üzerine yerleştirilebilen ısı haritası döşemelerini döndürür. Isı haritası döşemelerinde, belirli bir bitki türü (TREE, GRASS veya WEED) için dünya genelindeki UPI gösterilir.

Her kategori, belirli bir alandaki polenlerin belirli yoğunluk düzeylerine ve genellikle yaşanan alerjik belirtilerin şiddeti üzerindeki etkilerine göre belirlenir. Bu sayede, polen düzeylerinin kapsamlı bir gösterimi sunulur.
UPI'yi entegre eden kullanıcılar, çeşitli konumlardaki polen durumunu karşılaştırıp değerlendirebilir.

Polen API'si 3 farklı bitki türünü destekler: Çimen, Ot ve Ağaç. Bir tesisin kullanılabilirliği gerçek veri kaynağı ölçümlerine ve raporlarına bağlı olduğundan, Polen API'si tesis verileri konumlara göre değişiklik gösterebilir.
