Method: accounts.users.create

Creates a Merchant Center account user. Executing this method requires admin access.

HTTP request

POST https://merchantapi.googleapis.com/accounts/v1/{parent=accounts/*}/users

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
parent

Required. The resource name of the account for which a user will be created. Format: accounts/{account}

Query parameters

Parameters
userId

string

Required. The email address of the user (for example, john.doe@gmail.com).

Request body

The request body contains an instance of User.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of User.

Requires the following OAuth scope:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content
