Notifikasi Di Sekitar membantu pengguna menemukan apa saja yang ada di sekitar mereka, dengan menampilkan
notifikasi khusus lokasi untuk aplikasi dan situs, tanpa perlu menginstal
aplikasi sebelumnya. Dengan menggunakan Notifikasi di Sekitar, Anda dapat:
Dorong penginstalan aplikasi Anda sendiri.
Buka profil pribadi atau bisnis di aplikasi sosial.
Luncurkan percakapan atau chatbot di dalam aplikasi berkirim pesan.
Arahkan konsumen ke konten tentang produk di sekitar.
Membantu pengguna menjelajahi inventaris toko.
Dorong check in, ulasan dalam aplikasi lokal/perjalanan.
Sebagai developer, Anda dapat mengaitkan aplikasi atau situs dengan beacon BLE atau
perangkat smart berkemampuan BLE. Pengguna Android yang berada di dekat perangkat atau beacon tersebut akan melihat pesan di bagian Setelan Google Terdekat, kotak Setelan Cepat Di Sekitar akan menyala pada perangkat yang didukung, dan pesan yang berperforma baik akan ditampilkan sebagai notifikasi. Pesan Anda dapat mengarah ke Play Store, situs seluler, atau langsung ke aplikasi Anda jika sudah terinstal. Fungsi
ini di-build di Layanan Google Play, sehingga Anda tidak perlu mengubah
aplikasi untuk mulai menggunakannya.
Notifikasi Di Sekitar berfungsi dengan semua jenis beacon Eddystone, dan juga iBeacon.
Ada dua jenis pengalaman dasar yang dapat Anda berikan menggunakan
Notifikasi Di Sekitar:
Tautkan ke URL HTTPS untuk memberikan notifikasi kepada pengguna, lalu buka URL di browser saat pengguna mengetuk notifikasi.
Memicu intent aplikasi untuk meluncurkan aplikasi yang sudah diinstal dan
melakukan tindakan tertentu. Jika aplikasi tidak diinstal, pengguna akan diarahkan ke Play Store tempat aplikasi dapat diinstal; pengguna kemudian dapat melanjutkan ke fitur yang ditentukan oleh developer.
Keduanya tidak mengharuskan aplikasi diinstal di perangkat pengguna.
