<p>This release includes the General Availability (GA) release of the Maps Datasets API.</p>

<h3>Feature</h3>
<p>The <code>fetchDatasetErrors</code> API is now available. This API returns all errors associated with a failed dataset upload.</p>

<h3>Change</h3>

<p>This release of the Maps Datasets API adds support for dataset versions. In previous releases, you could only upload data to a dataset once. Now you can upload new data to a dataset to create a new version of the dataset.</p>

<h3>Breaking</h3>
<p>The initial Preview release of the Maps Datasets API included endpoint URLs that contained <code>/v1alpha</code>. Those endpoints have been removed. You must use the endpoint URLs that contain <code>/v1</code> for API calls.</p>
