Method: photoSequence.startUpload

  • This process outlines how to upload photo sequence data to Street View Publish using an upload session.

  • An upload session is initiated with an HTTP POST request to a specified URL, requiring an empty request body.

  • A successful request returns an UploadRef used to upload the actual data and later create the PhotoSequence object.

  • Authorization requires the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/streetviewpublish OAuth scope.

Creates an upload session to start uploading photo sequence data. The upload URL of the returned UploadRef is used to upload the data for the photoSequence.

After the upload is complete, the UploadRef is used with photoSequence.create to create the PhotoSequence object entry.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of UploadRef.
