AES-GCM, Google Play Hizmetleri olmadan Android KitKat'ta (API düzeyi 19) düzgün çalışmaz. Bunun nedeni, KitKat'ın, updateAAD özelliğini desteklemeyen Bouncy Castle 1.48 kullanmasıdır.
Google Play Hizmetleri mevcutsa AES-GCM düzgün çalışır.
