Bản ghi kiểm thử có thể được lưu trữ trên thiết bị chạy Android của người dùng và chỉ hỗ trợ các quy trình bắt nguồn từ thiết bị di động và cố gắng thêm thẻ vào Google Wallet.
Để truy cập vào Thẻ COVID, Google Wallet yêu cầu thiết bị của người dùng phải mở khoá để thêm hoặc xem một hồ sơ thử nghiệm. Nếu người dùng chưa thiết lập phương thức khoá màn hình, thì Google Wallet sẽ nhắc người dùng thiết lập phương thức khoá màn hình khi họ cố thêm một bản ghi thử nghiệm.

Người dùng có thể tạo lối tắt trên Màn hình chính Android để dễ dàng truy cập. Sau khi người dùng thêm bản ghi, họ sẽ được nhắc lưu lối tắt vào Màn hình chính của thiết bị.
