Google Wallet and Google Shopping have partnered to create a more personalized shopping journey. With loyalty passes stored in Google Wallet, shoppers on Google Search and Shopping can now see their membership benefits directly on your product listings—with no additional sign-in required.
When a shopper has your loyalty pass saved in Google Wallet, Google will automatically:
Remind members while they shop: Display their active membership status as they browse your products.
Surface member pricing: Highlight exclusive member prices across your organic, free product listings.
Sync preferences seamlessly: Connect your loyalty program directly within the user's Google Shopping preferences.
This helps you:
Drive Higher CTR: Stand out across Search and Shopping listings with member perks and pricing.
Strengthen Brand Affinity: Reward existing members right at the point of discovery.
Frictionless Re-engagement: Re-engage loyal customers without requiring manual logins or promo codes.
This feature is currently available for single-tiered loyalty programs, with multi-tier support rolling out soon.
For multi-tier loyalty programs, contact your Google representative or support team and complete the following integration steps:
Integrate with the Google Wallet API: Issue digital loyalty passes to your customers. See the Google Wallet Loyalty Cards Onboarding Guide for step-by-step instructions.
Align Loyalty Tier Identifiers: Ensure the loyalty tier label in your Google Shopping / Merchant Center feed exactly matches the rewardsTier string used in your Google Wallet API objects. Matching tier names are required for membership benefits to display correctly.
