Domain administrators can install\nGoogle Workspace Marketplace apps on behalf of their users. Additionally,\nindividual users can find and install Drive apps in\nGoogle Workspace Marketplace or by selecting\n**New \\\u003e add Connect more apps** in the\nDrive UI.\n\nWhen you publish your app, you are asked to register the file types that the\napp can open. When a user views a file in Drive or opens a\nGmail attachment, your application is listed as a suggested app\nif the file type is one you have registered.\n\nTo make your app available to others, you must follow a publishing process\nthat creates a listing for your app, registers the file types it can open,\nand adds the listing to Google Workspace Marketplace. You should only start\nthe publishing process once your app is fully functional and you're ready to let\nusers know about it.\n\nBefore you begin\n----------------\n\nBefore publishing your app to Google Workspace Marketplace, you should decide\non a visibility level and identify collaborators and digital assets.\n\n### Pick a visibility level\n\nDrive app *visibility* refers to the availability of your app to users. There\nare two visibility levels:\n\n- **Public** visibility indicates that anyone can install the app.\n- **Private** visibility means only admins or users in your domain can install the app.\n\n| **Warning:** Once the visibility setting is set, it can't be changed.\n\n### Identify your collaborators\n\nCollaborators are individuals who have access to update your\napp on Google Workspace Marketplace.\n| **Warning:** If you don't add collaborators for your app, you must transfer ownership of the app files and Cloud project before the owner's account is shutdown or removed, such as when the owner is planning to leave your organization. Failure to add collaborators, or change ownership *before* an employee leaves, can result in losing all access to the app code and settings.\n\n### Identify required assets\n\nBefore you can publish your Drive app, you must provide specific\ndigital assets to accompany your app. These assets include information used to\nbuild the store listing and assets that define your app's appearance and\nbehavior in the Google Drive UI (if applicable). For a list of assets required\nto list your app in Google Workspace Marketplace, refer to\n[Gather your assets](/workspace/marketplace/create-listing#gather_your_assets).\nFor instructions on how to integrate with the Drive UI, including assets\nrequired, refer to [Configure a Drive UI integration](/workspace/drive/api/guides/enable-sdk#configure_your_apps_drive_ui_integration).\n\nPublish to Google Workspace Marketplace\n---------------------------------------\n\nOnce you are ready to publish to Google Workspace Marketplace,\nrefer to [How to publish](/workspace/marketplace/how-to-publish)."]]
