Para trabalhar com recursos do Vault, a conta precisa ter os privilégios necessários do Vault e acesso ao caso. Para acessar um caso, a conta precisa ter criado o caso, ter recebido o compartilhamento dele ou ter o privilégio Visualizar todos os casos.
Um caso tem os seguintes estados:
Estado
Descrição
Abrir
O caso está ativo, e você pode criar guardas de documentos, fazer pesquisas e exportar dados nele.
Fechado
Normalmente, quando uma investigação é concluída, o caso é encerrado.
Os casos encerrados podem ser reabertos a qualquer momento.
Excluído
Um caso pode ser excluído para ficar completamente indisponível.
Um caso excluído permanece na Lixeira por aproximadamente 30 dias, período em que pode ser restaurado. Após esse período, o caso é removido permanentemente.
Criar um caso
O exemplo a seguir cria um novo caso com o nome e a descrição especificados.

A matter includes:\n\n- Saved search queries\n- Holds\n- Accounts with which the matter is shared\n- Export sets\n- Audit trail\n\nTo work with Vault resources, the account must have the [required Vault\nprivileges](https://support.google.com/vault/answer/2799699) and access to the\nmatter.
