La risorsa guideCategories
e il metodo guideCategories.list sono stati entrambi ritirati a partire dal 9 settembre 2020.
Una risorsa guideCategory identifica una categoria assegnata da YouTube in base ad algoritmi, in base ai contenuti di un canale o ad altri indicatori, come la popolarità del canale. L'elenco è simile alle categorie di video, con la differenza che l'utente che ha caricato un video può assegnare una categoria, ma solo YouTube può assegnarne una.
