Method: properties.audiences.get

  • This page provides documentation for looking up a single Audience using a GET request to the Google Analytics Admin API.

  • The request requires a name path parameter in the format properties/property_id/audiences/audience_id.

  • The request body must be empty, and a successful response will contain an Audience object.

  • Authorization requires either the analytics.readonly or analytics.edit OAuth scope.

Lookup for a single Audience. Audiences created before 2020 may not be supported. Default audiences will not show filter definitions.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Required. The name of the Audience to get. Example format: properties/1234/audiences/5678

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Audience.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.edit
