Method: properties.dataStreams.eventEditRules.create

  • Creates an EventEditRule to manage how events are processed within a specified data stream.

  • Requires https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.edit OAuth scope for authorization.

  • Sends a POST request to https://analyticsadmin.googleapis.com/v1alpha/{parent=properties/*/dataStreams/*}/eventEditRules with the EventEditRule details in the request body.

  • Includes path parameter parent to specify the data stream for which the rule is created (e.g., properties/123/dataStreams/456).

  • Returns the newly created EventEditRule object in the response body upon successful execution.

Creates an EventEditRule.
