Method: properties.get

  • This document explains how to retrieve a single Google Analytics 4 property using the Google Analytics Admin API.

  • You will need to make an HTTP GET request to the specified endpoint, providing the property ID as a path parameter.

  • The request body should be empty, and a successful response will contain the details of the requested property.

  • Authorization is required using one of the specified OAuth scopes: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly or https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.edit.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Required. The name of the property to lookup. Format: properties/{property_id} Example: "properties/1000"

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Property.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.edit
