ملاحظة حول الأمان وخصوصية البيانات
تحتفظ Google بمعرض العديد من الرسوم البيانية المفيدة والممتعة، قد أنشأنا بعضها و البعض الآخر من إنشاء جهات خارجية. تعتمد جميع الرسومات البيانية على مكتبات JavaScript المرتبطة، وقد يرسل بعضها بيانات الرسم البياني من المتصفّح إلى مكان آخر لمعالجتها مسبقًا.

- الأمان
وتقع على عاتق المطوّرين مسؤولية ضمان أمان الرسوم البيانية الخاصة بهم ومنعهم من تحميل رسوم بيانية ضارة. وقد نفحص الرسومات البيانية بحثًا عن ثغرات أمنية واضحة، ولكن من الممكن أن يحتوي الرسم البياني على برامج ضارة. على سبيل المثال، الرسوم البيانية هي رمز JavaScript يتم تشغيله في المتصفّح، وبالتالي يمكن أن تستفيد من أي ثغرات أمنية عادية في JavaScript.
- الخصوصية
يوافق المطوّرون على حماية خصوصية
المستخدمين. تنفّذ بعض الرسوم البيانية كل عمليات معالجة البيانات على المتصفح، بينما يحمّل البعض الآخر بياناته إلى Google أو مواقع إلكترونية تابعة لجهات خارجية لتحليل البيانات وإجراء
العمليات الحسابية. لا تشارك Google البيانات التي حمّلتها إلى الرسم البياني مع الآخرين، باستثناء بعض الاستثناءات التي تنصّ عليها المتطلبات القانونية والموضّحة في سياسة خصوصية Google. ولا تحتفظ Google أيضًا بالبيانات

ثم يتم تجاهلها. يوافق المطوّرون الذين ينشئون رسومات بيانية تجمع البيانات على اتّباع سياسة خصوصية ملائمة من الناحية القانونية.
