Peta situs berita
Jika Anda adalah penerbit berita, gunakan peta situs berita untuk memberi tahu Google tentang artikel berita Anda dan
informasi tambahan terkait. Anda dapat memperluas peta situs yang sudah ada dengan tag
berita tertentu, atau membuat peta situs berita terpisah yang hanya ditujukan untuk artikel berita Anda.
Keduanya sama saja bagi Google, tetapi membuat peta situs terpisah hanya untuk artikel
berita dapat memungkinkan pelacakan konten dengan lebih mudah di Penelusuran di Search Console.
Praktik terbaik peta situs berita
Peta situs berita didasarkan pada peta situs generik, sehingga
praktik terbaik peta situs umum
juga berlaku untuk peta situs berita.
Perbarui peta situs berita Anda dengan artikel terkini saat dipublikasikan. Jangan membuat peta situs baru
pada setiap pembaruan. Google Berita meng-crawl peta situs berita sesering meng-crawl seluruh
situs Anda.
Hanya sertakan URL terkini untuk artikel yang dibuat dalam dua hari terakhir. Setelah
artikel tersimpan lebih dari dua hari, hapus URL tersebut dari peta situs berita atau hapus
metadata <news:news> di peta situs Anda dari URL lama.
Jika Anda memilih metode untuk menghapus URL lama dari peta situs berita, berarti
peta situs Anda mungkin akan kosong selama jangka waktu tertentu (misalnya, jika Anda belum memublikasikan
artikel dalam beberapa hari terakhir). Anda mungkin melihat peringatan Peta Situs Kosong di Search Console,
tetapi hal ini hanya untuk memastikan bahwa Anda sengaja melakukan tindakan tersebut. Kosongnya file peta situs tidak akan menimbulkan
