אחרי שהלקוח יסיים להעלות את התמונה עם הUploadRef שהוחזר, photo.create מפרסם את התמונה Photo שהועלה ל-Street View במפות Google.
נכון לעכשיו, הדרך היחידה להגדיר את הכיוון, הזווית והרוטציה ב-photo.create היא באמצעות המטא-נתונים של XMP בתמונה הפנורמית ב-360° בבייטים של התמונה. הפונקציה photo.create מתעלמת מהשדות pose.heading, pose.pitch, pose.roll, pose.altitude ו-pose.level ב-Pose.
