Your\nchoices of action depend on whether you want to reactivate the\nadd-on in the future.\n\nLimitations\n-----------\n\nNote the following considerations before changing your\nadd-on's status:\n\n- Google *doesn't remove* already created add-on attachments in Classroom, even after you perform one of the actions described in this guide. If you no longer intend for users to access your content through add-on attachments, ensure that users are not presented with unrecoverable errors.\n- Disabling the Google Workspace Marketplace SDK in a Google Cloud project has no effect on the listing or app behavior. Doing so only prevents you from changing the configuration.\n- You cannot temporarily block users that have installed your add-on from using it.\n\nActions\n-------\n\nThe following are the actions you can take that affect the availability of a\nClassroom add-on. These are performed in either the\nGoogle Workspace Marketplace SDK or the add-on's\nGoogle Cloud project itself. Each addresses a particular use case.\n| **Key Point:** Read this section carefully before taking any action that affects your Classroom add-on. An action might have consequences that can't be reversed.\n\n### Unlist\n\nChoose this option if you want to reduce new installations of an\nadd-on by making its Google Workspace Marketplace\nlisting undiscoverable.\n\n**Unlist** an add-on by checking the `Unlisted` box in\nthe App Visibility section of the Marketplace SDK\n[App Configuration](//console.cloud.google.com/apis/api/appsmarket-component.googleapis.com/googleapps_sdk) page.\n\n#### Effect\n\n- Your add-on listing no longer appears in the Google Workspace Marketplace. It also doesn't appear in search results or the \"Works with Classroom\" filter.\n- The add-on continues to function normally for all installed users.\n\n#### Considerations\n\n- Users can still install your add-on by visiting the App URL directly. The App URL is shown on the Marketplace SDK [Store Listing](//console.cloud.google.com/apis/api/appsmarket-component.googleapis.com/googleapps_sdk_publish) page.\n- You can restore the listing visibility at any time by unchecking the `Unlisted` box.\n\n### Unpublish\n\nChoose this option if you want to prevent all new installations of an\nadd-on. Unlike [unlisting](#unlist), an unpublished\nadd-on can't be installed by visiting the\nGoogle Workspace Marketplace listing URL directly. You can republish the\nadd-on to allow new installations at some time in the\nfuture.\n\nTo unpublish, click the **UNPUBLISH** button in the\nMarketplace SDK [Store Listing](//console.cloud.google.com/apis/api/appsmarket-component.googleapis.com/googleapps_sdk_publish) page.\n\n#### Effect\n\n- All app listings associated with this Google Cloud project are immediately removed from Google Workspace Marketplace.\n\n#### Considerations\n\n- Users that have already installed the add-on can still use it normally.\n- If you have multiple integrations checked in the Marketplace SDK, consider disabling only the Classroom integration instead.\n- To allow new installations, republish the app. It must be rereviewed by the Marketplace team before it is available to users again. Users that had previously installed the add-on regain access to it after the app has been reapproved.\n\n### Turn off the Classroom integration\n\n| **Note:** You can only perform this action for a bundled add-on. A bundled add-on is a Cloud project where more than one Google Workspace integrations are selected in the Google Workspace Marketplace SDK's [App\n| Configuration](//console.cloud.google.com/apis/api/appsmarket-component.googleapis.com/googleapps_sdk) page.\n\nSimilar to [unpublishing](#unpublish), this action prevents all new\ninstallations of a Classroom add-on with the possibility to\nrepublish in the future. If your application is bundled with other\nMarketplace integrations, choose this option to only\naffect your Classroom add-on.\n\nTo turn off only the Classroom integration, clear the\n**Classroom integration box** in the\nMarketplace SDK [App Configuration](//console.cloud.google.com/apis/api/appsmarket-component.googleapis.com/googleapps_sdk) page.\n\n#### Effect\n\n- The add-on no longer appears in the Classroom UI when creating a new assignment, material, or announcement.\n- The add-on listing is removed from Google Workspace Marketplace.\n\n#### Considerations\n\n- To allow new installations, recheck the Classroom integration box and click **Publish** again in the Marketplace SDK [Store Listing](//console.cloud.google.com/apis/api/appsmarket-component.googleapis.com/googleapps_sdk_publish) page. It must be re-reviewed by the Marketplace team before it is available to users again. Users that had previously installed the add-on regain access to it after the app has been reapproved.\n\n### Delete the add-on\n\nChoose this option to immediately and permanently remove an\nadd-on. The add-on no longer\nappears for any users in Google Workspace Marketplace or Google Classroom.\n\nTo permanently delete an add-on,\n**[shut down](//support.google.com/googleapi/answer/6251787)** the Google Cloud project.\n| **Warning:** Don't shut down a Cloud project that must continue to exist for another reason; choose one of the other actions instead. For example, you might want to avoid shutting down a Cloud project that you also use for sign-in, other integrations, or API calls.\n\n#### Effect\n\n- The app listing is immediately removed from Google Workspace Marketplace.\n- The add-on is forcibly uninstalled for all Google Workspace users.\n\n#### Considerations\n\n- If the project is later [restored](//support.google.com/googleapi/answer/6251787) and the app republished and approved, the add-on is not restored to users that had previously installed it. Users must reinstall the add-on through Google Workspace Marketplace."]]
