Les orthophotos sont un ensemble de données de photos aériennes couvrant l'Estonie.
Une orthophoto est une photo aérienne traitée dont les distorsions causées par le relief du terrain, l'inclinaison de la caméra par rapport au sol au moment de l'exposition et la projection centrale de la caméra ont été supprimées. Une orthophoto numérique a une certaine taille de pixel ou résolution qui indique la plus petite zone exposée indivisible au sol (distance d'échantillonnage au sol, GSD).
Les orthophotos couvrent l'ensemble du pays et correspondent à l'échelle 1:5 000-1:10 000 (taille des pixels : 20-40 cm). Les orthophotos pour les zones à forte densité de population sont produites avec une taille de pixel de 10 à 16 cm.
Le jeu de données rgb_low_flying comporte trois bandes couvrant les zones à forte densité de population : rouge, vert et bleu.
Les données peuvent être utilisées sans frais à des fins commerciales et non commerciales pour une durée non spécifiée, à condition que le concédant (par exemple, l'Estonian Land Board) soit correctement crédité, avec le titre et l'âge des données.
