The equivalent water thickness represents the\ntotal terrestrial water storage anomalies from soil moisture, snow, surface\nwater (incl. rivers, lakes, reservoirs etc.), as well as groundwater and\naquifers. A glacial isostatic adjustment (GIA) correction has been applied,\nand standard corrections for geocenter (degree-1), C20 (degree-20) and\nC30 (degree-30) are incorporated. Post-processing filters have been applied\nto reduce correlated errors. Version 04 (v04) of the terrestrial water\nstorage data uses updated and consistent C20 and Geocenter corrections\n(i.e., Technical Notes TN-14 and TN-13), as well as an ellipsoidal\ncorrection to account for the non-spherical shape of the Earth when mapping\ngravity anomalies to surface mass change.\n\nThe GRACE Tellus (GRCTellus) Monthly Mass Grids dataset is produced\nby three centers: CSR (U. Texas / Center for Space Research),\nGFZ (GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam), and JPL\n(NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory). Each center is a part\nof the GRACE Ground System and generates Level-2 data\n(spherical harmonic fields) used in this dataset.\nThe output includes spherical harmonic coefficients\nof the gravity field and of the dealiasing fields used to compute them.\nSince each center independently produces the coefficients, the results\nmay be slightly different. It is recommended for most users to\nuse the mean of all three datasets. See the provider's [choosing a\nsolution](https://grace.jpl.nasa.gov/data/choosing-a-solution/) page\nfor more details.\n\n### Bands\n\n\n**Pixel Size**\n\n111320 meters\n\n**Bands**\n\n| Name | Units | Pixel Size | Description |\n|---------------------|-------|------------|---------------------------------------------------------------------|\n| `lwe_thickness_csr` | cm | meters | Equivalent liquid water thickness in centimeters calculated by CSR. |\n| `lwe_thickness_gfz` | cm | meters | Equivalent liquid water thickness in centimeters calculated by GFZ. |\n| `lwe_thickness_jpl` | cm | meters | Equivalent liquid water thickness in centimeters calculated by JPL. |\n| `uncertainty_csr` | | meters | Error estimation by CSR. |\n| `uncertainty_gfz` | | meters | Error estimation by GFZ. |\n| `uncertainty_jpl` | | meters | Error estimation by JPL. |\n\n### Image Properties\n\n**Image Properties**\n\n| Name | Type | Description |\n|----------------|--------|----------------------------------------------------------------------|\n| CSR_END_TIME | DOUBLE | End date in milliseconds of spherical harmonics solution from CSR. |\n| CSR_START_TIME | DOUBLE | Start date in milliseconds of spherical harmonics solution from CSR. |\n| GFZ_END_TIME | DOUBLE | End date in milliseconds of spherical harmonics solution from GFZ. |\n| GFZ_START_TIME | DOUBLE | Start date in milliseconds of spherical harmonics solution from GFZ. |\n| JPL_END_TIME | DOUBLE | End date in milliseconds of spherical harmonics solution from JPL. |\n| JPL_START_TIME | DOUBLE | Start date in milliseconds of spherical harmonics solution from JPL. |\n\n### Terms of Use\n\n**Terms of Use**\n\nAll NASA-produced data from the GRACE mission is made freely available\nfor the public to use.
