CPC Unified Gauge-Based Analysis of Global Daily Precipitation 데이터 세트는 1979년부터 현재까지 육지의 일일 강수량 추정치를 제공합니다.
NOAA의 기후 예측 센터 (CPC)에서 개발한 이 데이터 세트는 최적의 보간 기법을 활용하여 전 세계 우량계 네트워크의 데이터를 결합합니다. 30,000개가 넘는 우량계가 회고 버전(1979~2005년)에 기여하고 약 17,000개가 실시간 버전 (2006년~현재)에 기여합니다.
데이터는 0.5도 해상도로 제공되며 강수량 (0.1mm)과 각 그리드 셀에 사용된 게이지 수를 모두 포함하므로 사용자가 데이터 품질을 평가할 수 있습니다.
데이터 세트의 품질은 열대 아프리카와 남극에서 낮은 것으로 알려져 있으며 일반적으로 게이지 밀도에 따라 달라집니다. 실시간 데이터는 더 완전한 방송국 데이터를 사용할 수 있게 되면 수정될 수 있습니다.
참고: 1979년부터 2005년까지의 과거 데이터는 현재 버전의 데이터세트에서 사용할 수 없습니다.
