La base de données mondiale des limites administratives et politiques geoBoundaries est une ressource en ligne sous licence ouverte qui fournit les limites (par exemple, les États et les comtés) de chaque pays du monde. Actuellement, 199 entités au total sont suivies, y compris les 195 États membres de l'ONU, le Groenland, Taïwan, Niue et le Kosovo.
Les zones administratives mondiales complètes (CGAZ, Comprehensive Global Administrative Zones) sont un ensemble de composites mondiaux pour les limites administratives. Les zones contestées sont supprimées et remplacées par des polygones suivant les définitions du département d'État américain. Il comporte trois niveaux de limites (ADM0, ADM1 et ADM2), découpés selon les limites internationales (département d'État américain), avec des espaces comblés entre les frontières.
Cet ensemble de données fait partie de CGAZ. Il a été ingéré à partir de la version 6.0.0 des fichiers composites mondiaux avec DBF_DATE_LAST_UPDATE=2023-09-13.
Elle affiche les limites au niveau ADM1 (limites au niveau du district).
