La base de données nationale sur l'occupation des sols (NLCD) est une base de données sur l'occupation des sols basée sur Landsat, avec une résolution de 30 m et couvrant huit époques (2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2016 et 2019). L'Institut d'études géologiques des États-Unis (USGS), en partenariat avec plusieurs agences fédérales, a développé et publié sept produits de la base de données nationale sur l'occupation des sols (NLCD, National Land Cover Database) : NLCD 1992, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, 2019 et 2021.
