'עדכון סטטוס' הוא שדה אופציונלי בכלי למעקב אחר בעיות של Google שמייצג את המצב הנוכחי של בעיה. במקרים של בעיות שקשורות לתנועה גבוהה, הצוותים יכולים להשתמש בשדה הזה כדי לספק תשובה רשמית לגבי אופן הטיפול בבעיה.
השדה 'עדכון סטטוס':
תמיכה ב-Markdown.
ההנחיה מעודדת שימוש בטקסט קצר, עם מגבלה רכה של ארבע שורות של טקסט שמוצג.
המידע שמוצג מאפשר לדעת מתי הבעיה עודכנה לאחרונה. לדוגמה, כמה ימים עברו מאז עדכון הסטטוס האחרון.
העדכון מפעיל התראות באימייל למנויים.

אם יש לכם לפחות גישת 'הצגת בעיות' לבעיה מסוימת, תוכלו לראות את השדה 'עדכון סטטוס'.
עדכון הסטטוס לא מוצג בדף של רשימת הבעיות.
עדכון סטטוס לעומת תיאור
בשדה התיאור מגדירים את הבעיה, והוא בדרך כלל עמיד יותר לאורך זמן. השדה 'עדכון סטטוס' נועד להציג סיכום קצר של המצב הנוכחי של הבעיה.
