ERA5 ist die fünfte Generation der ECMWF-Atmosphärenreanalyse des globalen Klimas.
Bei der Reanalyse werden Modelldaten mit Beobachtungen aus der ganzen Welt zu einem global vollständigen und konsistenten Dataset kombiniert. ERA5 ersetzt die Vorgängerversion, die ERA-Interim-Reanalyse.
ERA5 MONTHLY bietet aggregierte Werte für jeden Monat für sieben ERA5-Klimareanalyseparameter: Lufttemperatur in 2 m Höhe, Taupunkttemperatur in 2 m Höhe, Gesamtniederschlag, mittlerer Luftdruck auf Meereshöhe, Luftdruck an der Erdoberfläche, u-Komponente des Windes in 10 m Höhe und v-Komponente des Windes in 10 m Höhe. Außerdem wurden die monatlichen Mindest- und Höchsttemperaturen in 2 m Höhe auf Grundlage der stündlichen Daten zur Lufttemperatur in 2 m Höhe berechnet. Die monatlichen Gesamtniederschlagswerte werden als monatliche Summen angegeben.
Alle anderen Parameter werden als monatliche Durchschnittswerte angegeben.
ERA5-Daten sind ab 1940 bis drei Monate nach Echtzeit verfügbar. Die Version im EE Data Catalog ist ab 1979 verfügbar. Weitere Informationen und weitere atmosphärische Parameter von ERA5 finden Sie im Copernicus Climate Data Store.
