Googlebot to robot, który wyszukuje strony internetowe, by dodać je do indeksu wyszukiwarki Google. Podczas wydarzeń i w mediach społecznościowych pytanie, które najczęściej otrzymujemy, to „czy Googlebot będzie współpracował z najnowszą wersją Chromium”. Dziś możemy z przyjemnością ogłosić, że Googlebot korzysta już z najnowszej wersji silnika renderującego Chromium (74 w momencie publikacji postu) podczas renderowania stron dodawanych do indeksu wyszukiwarki. Googlebot będzie regularnie aktualizować swój silnik renderujący, by zapewnić obsługę najnowszych funkcji platformy internetowej.
Co to oznacza dla użytkowników?
W porównaniu z poprzednią wersją Googlebot obsługuje teraz ponad 1000 nowych funkcji, takich jak:
