El robot de Google es el rastreador que visita páginas web para incluirlas en el índice de la Búsqueda de Google. La pregunta que más nos estaban repitiendo los usuarios de la comunidad en los eventos y en redes sociales era si, con la última versión de Chromium, podíamos hacer que el robot de Google estuviera siempre en funcionamiento. Hoy por fin podemos anunciar que el robot de Google, al indexar páginas en la Búsqueda, ha pasado a renderizarlas mediante la última versión del motor de Chromium (la 74 en estos momentos). De ahora en adelante, el robot de Google actualizará periódicamente su motor de renderizado para admitir las funciones más recientes de las plataformas web.
Ventajas
Esta versión del robot de Google es compatible con más de 1000 funciones nuevas:
Debes comprobar si haces transpilaciones o utilizas polyfills específicos del robot de Google; en el caso de que lo hagas, plantéate si todavía es necesario.
