القصة وراء مشرفي المواقع من Google
وفقًا لقاموس "ميريام وبستر"، أوّل استخدام معروف لكلمة "مشرف موقع" كان في العام 1993، أي قبل تأسيس Google. أصبح هذا المصطلح قديمًا، ووفقًا للبيانات المسجّلة، تراجع استخدامه تراجعًا حادًّا. كشفت دراسة أجريناها حول تجربة المستخدم أنّ عددًا قليلاً جدًا من خبراء الويب يعرّفون عن أنفسهم حاليًا بصفة مشرفي مواقع. وهم يفضّلون استخدام لقب مقدِّم خدمة تحسين محركات البحث (SEO) أو خبير تسويق على الإنترنت أو مدوّن أو مطوّر على الويب أو مالك موقع إلكتروني، إلا أنّ عددًا قليلاً جدًّا يستخدم لقب "مشرفي المواقع".
نحن بصدد تغيير اسمنا
تبادلنا الأفكار بحثًا عن اسم جديد، وأدركنا أنّ العمل الذي يجريه المتخصّصون على المواقع الإلكترونية لا يمكن تلخيصه بدقة في عبارة واحدة. وبهدف التركيز بشكل أكبر على موضوعنا الأساسي (بحث Google)، نحن بصدد تغيير اسمنا من "مجموعة خدمات مشرفي المواقع من Google" إلى "مجموعة خدمات بحث Google" على كل من مواقعنا الإلكترونية ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. ولا يزال هدفنا ثابتًا، فنحن نسعى إلى مساعدة المستخدمين في تحسين ظهور موقعهم الإلكتروني على "بحث Google". وسيتم تطبيق التغيير على معظم المنصات خلال اليومَين المقبلَين.
لمساعدة المستخدمين في التعرّف على كيفية تحسين مستوى ظهور مواقعهم الإلكترونية على "بحث Google"، نعمل أيضًا على دمج مستندات ومدونات المساعدة في موقع إلكتروني واحد.
ومن الآن فصاعدًا، سيتضمّن مركز مساعدة Search Console المستندات ذات الصلة باستخدام Search Console فقط. وستظل هذه الخدمة مركزًا لمنتدى المساعدة، الذي تم تغيير اسمه مؤخرًا من "منتدى مساعدة مشرفي المواقع" إلى "منتدى مجموعة خدمات بحث Google". وسيتم نقل المعلومات المتعلقة بطريقة عمل "بحث Google" والزحف والفهرسة وإرشادات "بحث Google" والمواضيع الأخرى ذات الصلة بخدمة "بحث Google" إلى موقعنا الإلكتروني الجديد، والذي كان يركّز في السابق على مستندات المطوّرين على الويب فقط. سيتم تنفيذ عملية نقل المحتوى خلال الأيام القليلة المقبلة.
سنواصل إنشاء المحتوى لكل مستخدم يريد أن تظهر مواقعه الإلكترونية على "بحث Google"، سواء كان مبتدئًا في مجال تحسين محركات البحث أو خبير ويب محترفًا.
دمج المدونات
يتم أيضًا نقل المدونة التي تقرأها الآن إلى موقعنا الإلكتروني الرئيسي. وسننتظر لمدة أسبوع للسماح للمشتركين بقراءة هذه المشاركة الأخيرة على المنصة القديمة. ستنتج المزايا التالية عن نقل هذه المدونة والمدونات الأخرى المترجمة التي يبلغ عددها 13 مدونة إلى مكان واحد:
- الاطّلاع على المزيد من المحتوى ذي الصلة (مستندات المساعدة والمدونات المترجمة والمعلومات حول الفعاليات، وكل ذلك على موقع إلكتروني واحد)
- سهولة التبديل بين اللغات (لم يعُد ضروريًا البحث عن عنوان URL الخاص بالمدونة المترجمة)
- تتيح لنا المنصة المحسّنة الحفاظ على المحتوى وترجمة مشاركة المدونة بسهولة أكبر وصياغة المشاركات بشكل متّسق.
من الآن فصاعدًا، ستظهر جميع مشاركات المدونات الجديدة والمؤرشفة على العنوان developers.google.com/search/blog. لست بحاجة إلى اتخاذ أي إجراء لمواصلة تلقّي إشعارات منّا، لأننا سنعيد توجيه المجموعة الحالية من المشتركين في RSS والبريد الإلكتروني إلى عنوان URL الجديد الخاص بالمدونة.
تعديل شعار Googlebot
سيتم أيضًا تعديل شعار Googlebot. شارفت أيام Googlebot في التجوّل منفردًا على الويب على نهاياتها، إذ انضم إليه زميل جديد في الزحف على الإنترنت.
عندما قابلنا هذا المخلوق الفضولي للمرة الأولى، تساءلنا: "هل هو حقًّا عنكبوت؟" وبعد اتّخاذ بعض إجراءات التدقيق، لاحظنا أنّ عنكبوت التتبّع الهجين يستطيع القفز لمسافات كبيرة ويرى بشكل أفضل إذا كان محاطًا بضوء أخضر. نعتقد أنّ الصديق الجديد المفضّل لبرنامج Googlebot هو عنكبوت من النوع Phidippus، علمًا أنّ لديه خصائص شبيهة ببرامج التتبّع. وقد كان Googlebot منشغلاً بالبحث عن ألقاب جديدة لعنكبوت التتبّع الصغير، إلا أنه لم يستقّر على رأي بعد. هل يمكنك المساعدة في ذلك؟

Googlebot's days of wandering the web solo come to a close as a new sidekick joins Googlebot in crawling the internet.\n\nWhen we first met this curious critter, we wondered, \"Is it really a spider?\" After some observation, we noticed this spider bot hybrid can jump great distances and sees best when surrounded by green light. We think Googlebot's new best friend is a spider from the genus [Phidippus](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phidippus), though it seems to also have bot-like characteristics. Googlebot's been trying out new nicknames for the little spider bot, but they haven't settled on anything yet.
