Googlebot とは、ウェブページにアクセスして、ウェブページを Google 検索インデックスに追加するクローラーです。イベントやソーシャル メディアで寄せられる質問で最も多かったものは、最新の Chromium によって Googlebot の最新の状態を維持できるかという質問でした。このたび、Googlebot では検索用にページをレンダリングする際に、最新の Chromium レンダリング エンジン（この投稿の時点でバージョン 74）を実行するようになりました。今後、Googlebot のレンダリング エンジンは定期的に更新され、最新のウェブ プラットフォーム機能をサポートできるようになります。
皆様への影響
以前のバージョンと比べて、Googlebot では次のような 1,000 種類以上の新機能がサポートされるようになりました。
