Search Console の Discover レポートに Chrome データを表示

Discover は、ユーザーが特定のトピックに関して検索中であるかを問わず、お気に入りのトピックに関する最新情報を提供できる機能として広く利用されています。サイトの運営者や所有者は、Discover パフォーマンス レポートにアクセスして、Android または iOS の Google アプリで、Discover でのサイト パフォーマンスに関する重要な指標を確認できます。
ユーザーは他にも、Discover が利用できる Android または iOS の Chrome で新しいタブを開くことにより、Discover のコンテンツを表示できます。これまで、Chrome からの Discover トラフィックは、既存の Discover パフォーマンス レポートには含まれていませんでした。
今回、Search Console では、サイトにおけるすべての Discover の表示回数とクリックに関する統計データを Chrome も含めて 1 か所にまとめて確認できるようになりました。
このデータは、今後数か月の間に、サイトの Search Console の Discover パフォーマンス レポートに表示されるようになります。つまり、レポートされるサイトのトラフィック量が以前より増加する可能があります。
本日より、ごく一部のトラフィックを対象に段階的にリリースしており、Chrome から Discover のトラフィックに関しては、新しい origin リファラー https://www.google.com/ が使用されるため、Google アプリで Discover に使用されているリファラーと一貫性が保てます。これにより、以前の www.googleapis.com/auth/chrome-content-suggestions リファラーが更新されます。
