Method: projects.videoThumbnails.getPixels

  • The getPixels method computes an image from a previous videoThumbnails.create request using its ID and authorization token.

  • The HTTP request uses a GET method with a specified URL containing the video thumbnail name.

  • The name parameter is required and is a string representing the video thumbnail name.

  • The request body must be empty.

  • Authorization requires one of the listed OAuth scopes for Earth Engine or Cloud Platform access.

Computes an image showing the result of a computation. The request includes values (an ID and authorisation token) from a previous videoThumbnails.create request.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Required. A video thumbnail name from VideoThumbnail.name.

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response is a generic HTTP response whose format is defined by the method.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/earthengine
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/earthengine.readonly
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform.read-only
